Polka Dots!

I came home from the quilt show and made this little bag. It's a QuiltSmart pattern called the Smart Bag. It's too cute...I can see some changes I'll make in the pattern the next time I make it, but it was so easy!

How cute! Is it REALLY easy? I'm not very good with sewing patterns. I taught myself to quilt but sewing kinda scares me. Usually I avoid making things other than quilts but I like this bag.

Hi Carolyn,

My guild had a quilt show this weekend as well. I saw that pattern there and thought...no you shouldn't buy that, you have so many books and patterns for bags.
Unfortunately, that didn't work on all the fabric I came home with.

Hugs,
Traci

Very cute!!! Are you starting to think about Christmas presents??? You are like me - I usually make a pattern 1X, write ALL over the pattern with my own notes and then the next time around make a few changes.

Cheers!

Carolyn ~ It's Barb aka Tinkquilts ~ remember me? Had lunch with Becki today and she told me about your blog. Nice to catch up with you. Love the bright yellow bag. I hadn't seen that pattern before! Glad you are "over" your surgery. It was the best thing I ever did. Take care
