Happy Halloween!

Although it's not my favorite holiday, I do enjoy seeing the kids dressed up and our Kindergarten class today had quite a few cute costumes! My favorite had to be the little boy dressed in a hammerhead shark costume. His mom had made it and the headpiece was just amazing! It was a fun day in Kindergarten. :o)

Tonight will be a great night for trick or treating...it's clear with a light breeze and it's about 70 degrees outside. Very unusual for this time of year! I don't have to follow the trick or treaters any more...as my 12 year old told me, "Mom, if you take me out trick or treating, I will have NO friends!" So, I can stay home and watch the parade of pirates, monsters and goblins.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!

It can be a lot of fun to see the costumes, unfortunately its too cold here and everyone will have their jackets and boots on (-9C with 15 cm of snow)

We've a cold halloween with temps hovering about 30 degrees and a cold wind. I had 3 little goblins...and a lot of left over candy.
Love seeing Cheyenne on your sewing table...*S* Nice that you have her for company in your new space. Hugs, Finn

We used to live in Bernardsville, and then in Basking Ridge. It was that balmy only once on Halloween. How nice for the children!

I know what you mean - it was a big heart in mouth moment for me last night to allow DS and DD2 aged almost 11 and 9 1/2 out unaccompanied with two of DS's 10 year old friends - you have to let go and allow them to grow up but it is so hard :o)

Since we moved out to the country, all we get are the four little bits that live next door. I really miss seeing all the little gremlins come by!
