The girls are back to school, my son spent the night at a friend's house and isn't home, I've cleaned the house, done 3 loads of laundry and I'm ready to leave for work...so I have a minute and the computer is all mine!!! Since I haven't gotten much computer time, I've put in a lot of time in my sewing room. Pretty good trade off! I've taken my 2" strips from the log cabin quilt and started the quilt for the other bed in the room. I've made 30 - 25 patch blocks and need to make 5 more. I'll be setting them on point with a tan fabric, then hopefully use the same inner and outer border as I did on the log cabins so the two quilts sort of match. Everything will be from my stash!
I haven't even started thinking about my UFO list...that will come soon. I know I don't have too many and most of what I do have just need quilting and binding. Okay...need to have a quick lunch before I leave (leftover honey mustard chicken and rosemary risotto, yum!). Enjoy your day!

Another lovely quilt and all from stash too! This will make a nice companion for the log cabin.
I like it & I like the similar but different concept that you have going on!
I always love 25-patches, but hate making them! It looks great!
It looks GREAT!! I've got a stack of double 4 patch (16 patch blocks) that need to be set, but I am not inspired with any layout I can think of! Maybe you can inspire me when i see yours together!

Beautiful. I am inspired.
You have been busy. I especially like the 25 patch blocks. I think they'll look great with the log cabin quilt, too.
Rosemary Risotto sounds good! A couple of years ago Amy turned me on to risotto and I love it.
WOW! You have a bunch of blocks made! That's going to be pretty and will have good space for quilting in the plain blocks if you want to do that.
I know what you mean about the computer time. I hate not having my laptop!!

Hi carolyn, What agreat block. Can't wait to see how you will set them. This is a great scrappy thing to do :c)
Hi Carolyn, good to see you back on the computer..*VBS* I love the 25 patch blocks..*S* But then I love 4, 9 and 16 patches too. I think the quilt will be awesome set with tan and connected to the log cabin via the borders. Good thinking!
That is beautiful, Carolyn!! It's great to see productive results when the puter is tied up, huh? ;o) I've been keeping away from it more myself just so that I can be more productive. So far so good!
