Decision Made...

After a great deal of consideration, I've sent the Batik Stars quilt off to Keepsake Quilting to be sold. If it doesn't sell, then I'm meant to keep it. Thanks to everyone who gave me their input on whether or not to sell it. Since it was made with selling it in mind, once I got past the emotional "I love it!" I realized that I could let it go. So, hopefully I've made the right choice...if not I'll just have to make another star quilt!

Thanks also to everyone who offered me hand piecing advice. I've decided that I will hand piece the Carpenter's Wheel block and see how it goes. If it's not going well, it will be back to the machine!

I came to your blog to answer your comment because you don't have your email set to show when you leave a comment to someone. I tried to reply to the comment I got from you (via email) but I couldn't because your address wasn't on it!

I don't have the king clam, I didn't think I'd want to quilt clams enough to make it worth the price...but so far I like the baptist fans. Do you have any pics of ones you've done with the clams? How do they look quilted?

That is the best way to try to sell it - you should get what it is worth.... Good Luck! I bet it will sell, it had a decorator feel to it, not just a nice quilt.... (Know what I mean?)
