Sunday Evening...

It's been a busy weekend here in south Jersey. The leaves are finally changing and jumping off the trees at an alarming rate! I'll be doing some raking this week, as well as cleaning and cooking to prepare for my daughter's Confirmation on Sunday.
A little bit of quilting has happened here. I made this adorable little snowman potholder this week. It was nice to make a project start to finish! Haven't done that for awhile. I finished the quilting on my sampler quilt, just used my Baptist Fans template on it...I really just wanted it done! Binding on that and my applique quilt are in the works. And going very slowly.
I just cleaned up my sewing room, so hope to spend some time in here this week, when I'm not behind the vacuum or in the kitchen!

Oh that is way too cute to be used as a pot holder - I'd put a little ring in the top and hang it in my kitchen.

Love that snowman potholder! Is it a pattern? He's just too cute.

I know you just wanted it done but I bet the quilt with the BF's looks great. I haven't used mine on any quilt that hasn't turned out wonderful.

Cute potholder! I wouldn't use it, I'd just hang it in my kitchen to cheer up anyone who sees it.

What a cute potholder! Thanks for commenting on my blog -- 'cause now I've found you. I've enjoyed reading through your last few months of posts! Love the Irish scarf -- I might have to try that -- it's SO pretty! And like you, after my surgery last year I was hesitant to go on HRT, but my dr. almost insisted. He certainly left it up to me, but gave compelling reasons why to give it a go. It's worked well for me so far....!
