Not much quilty is happening here. I've managed to finish 5 log cabin blocks and that's it! I do like how they're turning out, although I need to give a little more consideration to what I'm using as lights and darks. Some are very medium and could go either way! A busy weekend is ahead...tomorrow is the Love Apples Quilt Guild show and I'm hoping to be able to get there, but the weekend is full already and I'm not sure I'll have time. If not, I'll definitely spend some time in my sewing room! Have a great weekend...

The log cabins are really looking good. I like the red centers. Have a good weekend.
I love log cabin blocks, and these are looking very nice. Just flip those mediums over to the wrong side to make great lights - I've done that many times when making log cabin blocks. Works really well. As Roberta Horton says, you pay for both sides of the fabric.
It looks like you have managed to make it out of the "Thimbleberries" block! Nice log cabin blocks.
The log cabins look great and I will be going to Love Apples quilt show today. I hope you get a chance to go. Looking forward to seeing you next week! pwgezwgw
I hope you get to go to the quilt show. Think inspiration!
Your loggies are lovely! Can't wait to see the quilt!
log cabin blocks are always fun to make-and I hear you on needing some more variety on the strings!
I was just reading somewhere that throwing in those mediums are what makes a quilt interesting. I like the blocks so far.
