Borders are on....

The borders are now on my One Hour quilt and I'm pleased with how it turned out. It will make a wonderful Christmas gift for someone!

My husband is still away and checked my blog last night. This morning he told me I should update it because I hadn't done so since Saturday. So, here are two posts in one day...

We're in the midst of severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches, guess I should sign off the computer!

I love your One Hour Quilt. I'm hoping to finish mine tomorrow, but we're getting ready for the tropical storm Ernesto to come through this way late afternoon. Should be lots of rain and a good bit of wind, but there usually isn't any lightning so I should be ok to sew. Sure hope so.

Isn't that just the coolest thing about quilting? How the same block can have so many different looks! Both of these quilts are just terrific, Carolyn! How fun for you!

Hi Carolyn, both quilts look wonderful with their newly added borders! you've done a great job to get both of them to this point.
Time to quilt for awhile. Hugs, Finn who still isn't sewing

I like it a lot! I added it to the quilts on my webshots page. Tomorrow I'll remind everyone again to go there and look at them.

Very pretty Carolyn - both of them! The same center block, but two such different looks.

Very pretty - I went out and bought my border fabric today for mine. I had the background and fat quarters but didn't have anything that would work as the border. I'm making mine for Quilt Pink and it's less scrappy than my usual stuff.
