Tonya's Houses
Yesterday, before I knew I had the flu, I decided I HAD to make one of Tonya's houses. So, I fired up my laptop which is next to my sewing table and I followed her directions. I think it turned out cute, although I'm not overwhelmed with the way the roof turned out. The fabrics are all hand dyes and batiks. I think when I'm feeling better I'll have to make a few more. It was a very easy technique...thanks for sharing it, Tonya!

I love it...it is so fun seeing these houses pop up all over!
I think it turned out cute... I like the big roof, it gives it character. :-) Hope you're feeling better quickly
Love, love, love your house. It's adorable. And the fabrics! Yum-o!
Very fun. Love the colors/fabrics you're using. Don't know why you're picking on that roof - it's great. Roofs that are too large (or too small) are all part of the fun.
I love your house, wasn't it fun to make!
I like the roof....makes it more interesting and fun!
Hope you feel better soon.
OH NO!!! NOT the flu!! That cuts into your quilting time something fierce. :o/ Hopefully you'll feel better real soon. Love the house block too!
Hope you feel better soon. Love the house, the roof is great. Besides, they are "wonky" houses, right? I can't wait to try one!
I think your first house is great Carolyn, and I especially LOVE the fabric you used for the sky...get well soon, Hugs, Finn *S*
Love your house and the fabrics you used.
