Dresden Plate

I was just visiting Bonnie's blog and saw her Dresden Plate quilt that she just finished. I have a very similar customer quilt on the machine right now! Mine is newly made, with 30s repros. My customer also wants very traditional, 30s style quilting on it. Here is what I've done so far. I'd hoped to have it done by now, but today was the first day I've been able to stand at the machine all week!

a pastel dresden plate - how unusual is that?

I love the border treatment!

The dresden is pretty. I have some 30's repro's I haven't known what to do with -- maybe this hmmm? Love what she did with the border.

really nice quilting! I also love the border treatment-both what you quilted and what she used

I love what you did for quilting on the border! It is so fun when you see similar quilts done different ways like this one and Bonnies! It is so much fun! I'm glad I"m back and catching up!

I love the "old fashioned" quilting. It really comlemnets the quilt top.

That's very pretty. I love what she did in the border. Will you show us a picture after you finish quilting it?
