But I'm in love with these raglan increases. They're just so much fun and I made them! They may not all line up perfectly, but then, neither do I, so I'm okay with that at this stage. Once the sweater is done I may not be quite as happy with them.
I'm having the boss take me to my favorite yarn store this weekend, as my 24" circular needle won't cut it for a sweater that will have over 300 stitches on the needles by the end. It's already getting a little hard to work with, so tonight I'll spend some time quilting. Unless those little raglan increases start calling to me again.
And how about that Phillies game last night? Awesome...

I completely missed you were scheduled for surgery. I hope it all went well!
I had to use markers for those increases. I couldn't keep them lined up otherwise, even though it was supposed to be perfectly clear. However, that's also the first major knitting project I started after having a baby, and it took me something like five months to do it, one row at a time. But it's my favorite cardigan. I wear it all the time, and it looks great with everything. I predict you'll love yours!!
I hope your surgery went well! Your sweater looks really pretty. I've had one on the needles for years -- all I have left is the button band and sewing it together -- not sure what the hold up is! Have a wonderful weekend!
Hope you're doing well, Carolyn! What a great season for recovery and resting. (You are resting, aren't you?!?!)
LOVE the knitting in the works. Why is it that some patterns are so very follow-able...and others, just are not?! ;-) The grey...yum.
Be well, my friend!
