Hour Quilt Progress

I've discovered the problem with this quilt is that I can't stop working after an hour! My churn dashes are all done and I've cut 2" strips to use in making the frames around them. I may start sewing strips together and get one block done before I head to bed.

Thanks for all your well wishes on the root canal. The endodontist is a master...he did the job quickly and except for a little achiness, it really doesn't hurt. At least, not yet! The hardest part really was writing the check to pay for it. :o)

Judy, thanks so much for sharing this pattern with us. I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am!

Glad the root canal wasn't too bad. I've had little problem with any I've had done, other than as you say, an achiness.... tylenol took care of that and it cleared up quite quickly...

The churn dashs are looking great!

Very pretty! Glad everything went well on the dentist front for both you and Finn. Mouth pain is so hard to deal with.

I like your color choices. Paying for dental services is tough & expensive.

Your blocks are so pretty! Did you use some of the same florals from your Cathedral Windows? Seeing your blocks, I may need to make at least one more quilt in this pattern with different fabrics.

How pretty these are turning out! I cannot wait to see what colors you use in the frames.

I like both the hour quilt and the Cathedral Windows. Both look like spring to me - do you use a lot of florals in your quilting?

Hi Carolyn, so glad to hear that the root canal went well...very glad! I'm still reeling from having 6 appointments this week, and all by noon on Thursday. Don't need to do this again anytime soon.
Love the blocks for the quilt Judy is teaching. I still haven't gotten fabric selected for mine, but I hope to catch up...and Judy says not to worry about it..so I won't.
You little Cathedral windows look wonderful, very delicate..*VBS* Hugs for root canals and the bill that goes with them, Finn

Wow you and me both! I had a root canl done once in order to have a crown put on and it was so easy that I'd sign up for 10 root canals with this dentist again before I'de have one crown done again!

Congrats on getting a great doc to do it! Makes all the difference!

By the way the quilt in the later posts is simply fantastic! Just gorgeous!
